Tamara to go Wider

Fango has learned that City Lights Pictures Releasing will send their supernatural chiller TAMARA into wider release this month following its successful big-screen debut this past weekend. “The film grossed a total of $11,410 for the weekend at [New York City’s] AMC Empire 25, making it the fifth highest-grossing film out of 25 screens and the highest-grossing exclusive screen in the city,” a City Lights source tells Fango; we attended one of the Friday-night shows, where spontaneous applause greeted the movie’s gory highlights. “Star Jenna Dewan was on hand to sign autographs and was practically mobbed by fans. The buzz garnered by this weekend's success lays the groundwork for the national rollout on February 17, as the film will hit audiences across the country.”
