From Fango:
The Weinstein Company has announced that it has picked up the North American distribution rights to IGOR, the animated film based on classic creature features. The story focuses on the title character, a mad scientist’s hunchbacked, put-upon assistant who dreams of achieving his own glory by winning first prize at the annual Evil Science Fair. After the bad doctor dies, he and his creepy friends decide to cover it up and create their own female creature named Eva. But when she turns out to be good-natured, they have to train her how to be a true monster in time for the fair. Chris (AMERICAN DAD) McKenna scripted and John D. Eraklis will produce for Exodus Film Group, which is already wrapping the short IGOR: UNHOLY FRIJOLES. Christian Slater, Steve Buscemi, Jay Leno and John Cleese are among FRIJOLES’ voice performers, though no cast or a director has been set for the feature. Check out the Exodus site for more about IGOR.
You're probably wondering why I'm posting this, besides the fact that it looks creepy and cute. Well...

Also from Fango, a while back:
IGOR, a homage to classic creature features, is set in the land of Malaria and focuses on the titular hunchbacked assistant (Slater) to the nasty Dr. Glickenstein (Cleese), who torments Igor and ridicules his dreams of becoming a mad scientist himself. When Dr. Glickenstein dies two weeks before the prestigious Evil Science Fair, Igor teams up with Scamper (Buscemi), a rabbit resurrected from the dead, and Brian (Leno), a cranky brain in a jar, to create a creature that will win them the first prize for Most Evil Invention. Unfortunately, the female “monster” turns out to be gentle and sweet, and Igor has to train her how to be evil before the fair arrives.
Yes. Steve Buscemi is voicing a zombie rabbit. The world is full of happy goodness.
