There's an interview with HOTD 2 scribes, Michael Roesch and Peter Scheerer over at Creature Corner.

Are you happy with the way he's (Boll) adapted your work?

Michael: Well, as screenwriters you´re are never entirely happy with how your work gets adapted. Every director changes the script. Usually you hear in the beginning, that this is the perfect script
for the movie. And in the end there is no single line left from your script.

Peter: That´s the reason why the most screenwriters want to direct their own movies sooner or later. Like we did - with our movie BROTHERHOOD OF BLOOD, which we just wrapped.

Go figure...heh...
