Louisville Call for Zombies

From The Courier-Journal:

Listen up, all of you bikers and ghouls who want to be in the zombie flick that Louisville director Mark Poole will shoot downtown Saturday.

Poole, who has a day job, has been overrun by more than 1,000 eager bikers and zombie wannabes ready to get gross for his film "Dead Moon Rising." So don't call or e-mail him.

Here's the scoop on the movie and how to be in it:

When: 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday.

Where: The new location to accommodate the growing horde will be Jefferson Street between First and Second streets near The Corner.

What you get paid: Zero, but your name will appear in the credits, and you can brag about that.

Rules: No one under the age of 18 will be used, so bring a photo ID with your name on it. No guns or other weapons. No drugs. No fighting. No nudity. No kidding.

Personal release required; registration: You must sign a release to participate. If you register in advance at The Corner, you can get a release, fill it out and bring it to the location Saturday. You'll also get a stage pass for Saturday when you register in advance.

Note to bikers: You can ride any kind of motorcycle and women bikers are welcome, of course. There's no chauvinism in zombie world. Wear leathers, jeans, shorts, or whatever is comfortable but drop the gang persona. The director wants to keep the filming friendly with all parties involved.

Zombie apparel: Wear non-logo clothing, preferably in light colors so the sticky, fake blood will show up better.

More about zombie roles: Only about 30 zombies will be featured as lead zombies but feel free to come with makeup. Maybe you'll be picked as a star among the living dead. The hundreds of others who show up will make up the zombie swarm in the movie's background.
