Group Wants To Smash, Destroy Zombie Record

PITTSBURGH, PA -- How many zombies do you need in one place to set a world record? A group of people attempted to answer that question on Sunday at a mall near Pittsburgh, Pa.Several hundred of the undead gathered at the Monroeville Mall, site of the classic horror film "Dawn of the Dead."The group was attempting to earn entry into the Guinness Book of World Records for Most Zombies Gathered In One Location.

The official count of Sunday's meeting has not been released, but the organizers said they are confident they earned the record.The event also aided a local food bank. Each zombie was asked to donate a non-perishable food item.There is no word on how many cans of brains were collected.
