Dead Tired

The folks at Emerald Productions have a program of their short films, including a few horror titles, playing tonight at Manhattan’s Dekk Restaurant Bar and Lounge (134 Reade Street). Included are two movies by Ernie Rockelman: DEAD TIRED, in which a trio of roommates become trapped by a horde of zombies (the short “combines macabre humor with hellacious horror en route to a putrescent finish,” according to the Emerald site), and CARVER (“Your expectations will be sliced and diced in the haunting realm of Carver!”). There’s also Kent Green’s DEAD WITHIN, a surreal story about an injured man and the strange experiences he undergoes when he seeks help at a cabin in the woods.
