Zombie Cultural Commentary

The whole world's gone zombies. I mean this in a good way.

The hot trend in books, movies and games for the highly sought after 18- to 34-year-old demographic these days is zombies. For the horror-genre impaired, zombies are dead people who, since they can't get into the afterlife, roam the world forever in tattered clothing.

They're like mummies, but without the linen wrapping. And they are most often characterized by dark circles under the eyes, the 1,000-yard stare and the halting, robotic gait most of us associate with the early morning trip into the kitchen for that first cup of coffee.
