Zombie News

Check out two new interviews over at Bloody-Disgusting.

One is with Drunken Dead Guy writer/director John Greff.
There was a person that used to frequent our store who would never buy anything but amuse us with ridiculous questions in a drunken stupor. He actually looked something like a reject out of a zombie movie. One night he stumbled in and was rambling how he had gotten in a recent motorcycle accident. According to his account of the accident, he was hit by a truck and thrown off the bike for about 100 feet and then got hit by a car. Obviously he should have been killed but the inside joke amongst us software geek elitists became "You can't kill what is already dead". There I started calling him "The Drunken Dead Guy."
The second is actually upcoming, so remember to check back at B-D to read it. It's with Bob Clark, director of Children Shouldn't Play with Dead Things (1972) and Deathdream (1974), regarding his own remake of CSPWDT.
"I was working with some folks at The Quadrant Company and we all decided we wanted to make a “classy” horror movie. Roy Moore wrote that amazing script and once Olivia (Hussey) was cast, everything just fell into place. And that house, which was just behind the University of Toronto, where we shot, was so perfect! We didn’t have to build or redesign anything, from the attic to the main floor and that incredible staircase." He continues, "And we had such a great cast, from Olivia, Keir Dullea and Margot Kidder to John Saxon and the wonderful Marian Waldman who played Mrs. Mac. I really feel “Black Christmas” has held up beautifully – especially as the look of that era seems to be coming back into vogue."

And from Moviesonline:
Anagram Pictures released 7 new movie photos for the upcoming Zombie movie Fido. The film is directed by Andrew Currie and will be released by Lionsgate Films. Because 6 of the photos were really small i put them together to one big image. Besides the adorable Carrie-Ann Moss you can take a look at Billy Connolly who portrays the Zombie called Fido.
