Gingold and Fango writes:
Chicago-based Shattering Paradigms Entertainment informed Fango that it is gearing up for its first feature-length movie, a zombie opus called DEAD REIGN. Scheduled to shoot in 2006 under director Gary Michael Schultz from a script he wrote with Alexander Rojas, REIGN is about a rain-borne virus that turns everyone it touches into ravenous ghouls. A group of survivors take shelter in an abandoned warehouse, where they also run afoul of a militia group whose members have begun killing the living and the dead alike. “The characters in our story are gritty and dark,” Schultz says. “They are not perfect people and that’s why they are interesting. Our talented team will create a macabre world that our audiences will experience along with the characters.”

Frank Zeiger III, Winston Evans, adult film star Ron Jeremy and Chicago-based shock jock, Eric “Mancow” Muller have already been cast, with more actors to be announced soon. You can keep up with the movie’s status (and see zombie concept art) at its website.
