28 Weeks Later

28 Weeks Later: Eh?

Image hosting by Photobucket

From Bloody-Disgusting:
Now here's some truly disturbing news. Fox Searchlight's new teen division is moving full speed ahead, with a name, new hires and several projects in development. The first release from Fox Atomic is expected by the end of the year, and a full slate of pics is expected for 2007, according to Variety. So why the long face? This "teen division" will be responsible for the sequel to Danny Boyle's 28 Days Later, which is still titled 28 Weeks Later. According to the article the sequel will be produced by Danny Boyle, Alex Garland and Andrew Macdonald, and scripted by Garland. More news as it comes in. The plot: England has basically been abandoned, and there's been no life there for six months. The Americans arrive to start it back up again, to reboot it.
There are a few things about this that make me ask WTF?
