Today another slew of pics from Universal's SLiTHER (review) were posted online. Read on for the images from James Gunn's directorial debut, which hits theaters March 31st. When farmers’ livestock turn up horribly mutilated and a young women goes missing, Sheriff Bill Pardy (Nathan Fillion) and his team, aided by Grant’s wife Starla (Elizabeth Banks), uncover the dark force laying siege to their town… and come face-to-face with an older-than-time organism intent on absorbing and devouring all life on Earth...

Slither has got a great cast, a director who "gets it", a fantastic concept and a lineage that stretches back through the 1988 Blob remake to classic exploitation fare like Society and The Incredible Melting Man.

The movie opens on March 31st, but you knew that already. No, the reason for this latest update is the launch of two gruesomely groovy games on the official movie site.

First up is Brenda Pet, a sort of disgusting bloated fleshy Tamagotchi where you have to look after the mutated Brenda by feeding her meat. Watch her tumors move! Smell her unsavory scent! What more could you ask for?

And then there's Hunting Season, a monster blasting shoot 'em up where you must protect poor Nathan Fillon from demented Serenity fans (and mutant slugs).
