… Think old school new wave (hoarse guitars et al) dipped in the sweet melodies of Zombina’s girly-ghastly vocals (somewhere between Kirsty Mc Call and your baby sister’s cutest whimper) and you’re getting an idea of the noise we‘re talking. Musically the band themselves are as tight as Vampirella’s arse, bass and guitar bobbing and bopping along to Shivers’ solid drums and Jonny Tokyo’s (where did they get those wonderful names…) shrill organ sounds to create beautiful yet haunting pop. These kids know their E majors from their A minor diminisheds, that’s for sure..
