Rock N' Roll Nightmare on DVD

The good folks at Synapse Films passed on the DVD art and specs for its upcoming releases of ROCK ’N’ ROLL NIGHTMARE and SINGAPORE SLING. NIGHTMARE, whose disc release we first reported on here, streets June 27 and stars heavy metaler Jon-Mikl Thor as the lead singer of a hard rock band who confronts demons while recording a new album at an isolated farmhouse. The special edition marks the movie’s first time on DVD, and contains a high-definition 1.78:1 transfer with a new Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround soundtrack, plus the original Dolby Digital 2.0 mono audio. Extras include:

• Audio commentary by director John Fasano and Thor
• Revelations of a Rock ‘n’ Roll Warrior featurette on Thor’s life and history
• Creating a Child-Wolf behind-the-scenes makeup featurette
• Rock ‘n’ Shock Memories: Rare Footage from the set of ROCK ‘N’ ROLL NIGHTMARE
• Music videos for “Energy” and “We Live to Rock”
• New video introduction and afterword by Thor
• Liner notes by Ian Jane

It's true, there are--to the best of my knowledge--no zombies in RnRN. But, I thought, in honor of !V!'s new Intercessor review (the long-awaited RnRN follow-up), you folks might be interested in this. Besides, I needed a reason to use the above picture of Thor.
