NECA gets Grindhouse

Today news came from the New York Toy Fair courtesy of Action-Figure.com, according to the website NECA now has the rights to produce figures and more based on Robert Rodriquez and Quentin Tarantino's Grindhouse, which is currently filming in Austin, Texas. Some of the guys from NECA will be going down there as filming starts to get reference for the action figures and other products they will be releasing such as lighters mugs, flasks and to scout for other products they can make within their licence that tie in nicely to the movie. They will be making action figures on key characters from the movie and other key products but this early on before it has even started filming not much is known. As for figures based on Robert's From Dusk Till Dawn, Randy Falk of NECA tells A-F, "Its something we at NECA would love to do, we will have to discuss this further with Quentin and Robert as the each own a half half share of that movie."
