Deadscapes

For those of you who might have been looking forward to the ill-fated Circling the Drain, there is now Deadscapes.
The idea for "Deadscapes" was siphoned from the dying veins of a project called Circling The Drain. The former project reached an untimely end in July of 2005 when the doom of incompletion after a 2 and half year life span weighed in on the makers, thus forcing the situation into a stalemate. The details made public were scarce yet more to the point than an elaborate explanation would've provided. Although unrelated conceptually, this new project shares a genre and an intent long lost and contaminated from the former. The goal of the project itself is to fulfill ambitions of its creator on numerous levels including homage to the genre itself as well as the quest to learn more and grow with the craft of filmmaking.
----------
In the tradition of short films and television series such as "Twilight Zone" and "Tales From The Darkside," "Deadscapes" will attempt (albeit from inexperienced roots and amateur means) to bring about a collection of short films set in the abovementioned world of the living dead. Each episode will be 10-15 minutes and available through this website, The eventuality of a small series is the tentative finish line for this project. At that point the project and accompanying mission statements laid out today will be re-evaluated for the conclusive or continuing decisions to be made.
